Summer Party

26th, 27th, 28th July
Don’t miss our legendary summer party!
This year is going to be bigger and better than ever. Rain or shine the garden will be in full swing, we have plenty of outdoor seating in order for you to lap up the sun if we get lucky with the weather. However, we won’t let the rain put a stop to us having a good time, as we have invested in a massive marquee that will provide ample shelter and warmth if the heavens open.
For the entire weekend, our usual cider festival will be going on with 10 ciders and 5 real ales, and the outdoor bar will be serving all of our 140+ different gins. The Cotswold Distillery will be operating their very own bar in the garden for the entire weekend so you can expect some deals on drinks based on their products. Friday and Sunday will feature a BBQ and hog roast, in addition, we will be offering our standard menu during our normal kitchen opening hours.
There will also be a charity raffle in aid of Cancer Research UK. We have some truly excellent prizes and tickets are just £5 each.
- Prizes will be drawn at 4pm on Sunday and include:
- A three-course meal and bottle of wine at the Maytime Inn for two people.
- A selection of meat from W. J. Castle
- A fruit basket from Arthur David
- A side of smoked salmon from Kingfisher Brixham
- Juices & cider from Bensons
- A box of cured meats from the Salt Pig Curing Company
- A bottle of Berry Bros. & Rudd Crémant de Limoux from Nectar
FRIDAY 26th July
On Friday we are kicking everything off with a BBQ from 6pm until 9pm. Our beer supplier’s band — the Ukeholics, will once again be entertaining us with a selection of ukelele-based covers of all your favourite songs from 7pm until 9pm.
Saturday 27th July
From 1pm we will be having a hog roast, and there will be face painting for the young and young-at-heart from 12:30pm until 4:30pm.
We will have live music from 1pm until 8pm and we’re currently working with some of our suppliers who hopefully will be running their own stalls in the garden. Watch this space!
