Hello and welcome to the very first Maytime Weekender of 2019! While we normally fill this post with info about all of the exciting events, deals and other stuff going on at the pub. This one is a bit different, in that we need to tell you that from Monday nothing will be going on and we will be closed for one week.

So, if you turn up on Monday and find the doors locked do not fret. Nothing is wrong, we are merely closing doors for one week, now that the busy Christmas period has concluded to carry out some refurbishments so we look bright and shiny for the new year. We will be back and open as usual from the 13th once we’ve spruced ourselves up a bit.

So, if you’d like to come to say hello before we shut for the week then please come down this weekend for a pint, evening supper or perhaps a Sunday roast.
