Once every two years the tranquil parochial setting of Asthall is electrified by the arrival of thousands of art-lovers coming to view the works of some leading contemporary artists. We are of course talking about Asthall Manor’s biannual sculpture festival On Form.

From the 10th of June until the 8th of July the manor’s gardens will play host to dozens of contemporary sculptures from a range of artists. There’s also talks, concerts, lectures and workshops going on throughout the entire event.

The Maytime is just a two minute walk from the manor, so we are the perfect place to visit for a bite to eat or a swift pint before or after the festival. And, if you’re looking to enjoy several days of the festival, then we are the absolute best place to stay.
