Friday chums, you’ve made it through this first week of truly… autumnal weather. Summer may have dwindled but that doesn’t mean your weekends need to also. We’ve got loads of exciting news and events going on at the pub, and there are a few non-pub things going on in the Cotswolds too.
Come to the Maytime on Sunday the 16th, between the 3 pm and 5 pm to witness the tremendous Adam Isaac perform. Coached on the BBC’s hit show ‘The Voice’ by the one and only Sir Tom Jones, Adam plays a mix of pop and rock that draws influence from the likes of Radiohead and Muse.
Yep, we’re bringing up Christmas again very quickly, just to remind you lovely folks that A) we book up really early for Christmas parties and B) we’ve recently launched our Christmas menu. Here t’is.
At the time of writing outside the window, it is wet, it’s windy, it’s grey. Autumn is here. So, it’s the perfect time to come warm your soul with one of our traditional Sunday roasts, after a blackberry and mushroom foraging session in the surrounding countryside in the morning.
Sudeley Castle Classic Cars
If you’re the proud owner of an old banger or just an admirer, the Sudeley Classic Car Rally is this weekend. Promising a wide range of classic vehicles parked on the North Lawn, and the highest concentration of car geeks anywhere in the Cotswolds. It’s a great day out for the whole family, with admission including access to the historic castle.
