Maytime Weekender: 7th June 2019

Maytime Weekender: 7th June 2019

Congratulations, you made it, Friday is here, and so too is the Maytime Weekender: our weekly selection of news, events and general Cotswoldian tidbits. June is always a special month both at the pub and around the Cotswolds, so here’s all of the latest:

World Gin Day

It goes without saying, with over 140 varieties at the bar, that we are pretty passionate about gin. That’s why we are really looking forward to this Sunday, as it is World Gin Day. To celebrate this important (to us) date, we’re feeling generous. So, we are offering a 10% discount on all gins in the pub, for the entire day.

This Weekend: Richard James

We’ve got the fantastic Richard James performing this Sunday from 3pm until 5pm. Described by Acoustic Magazine as no less than “The next big thing” we’re certain that Richard’s music will be the perfect thing to unwind to post-Sunday-lunch.

Book now for Father’s Day

This is just a friendly reminder that we are usually busy on Father’s Day, so if you’d like to treat a father, or perhaps even grandfather, to a Sunday roast, or evening meal, then please book now in order to avoid any disappointment. And of course, as usual, we are offering all father’s one free pint if they present their children (of any age) to the bar.

Ramsden Village Fete and Dog Show

Tomorrow is the Ramsden Village fete. Open from midday there will be a range of hot and cold food stalls, music, a dog show and even a Spitfire flypast. Best of all, it’s only a 15-minute drive from the Maytime Inn. Find out more.
