Valentine’s Day

Fancy treating your loved-one this Valentine’s Day to something special this year? We’ve developed a special romantic menu for the big day this year, which can be mix and matched with our usua là la carte. Don’t worry if you can’t make it on the 14th as this menu will also be available on Friday and Saturday. Everyone who books on the 14th, however, will receive a glass of our homemade Maytime Gin and Tonic 

Six Nations

Before you ask, every single game! And with multiple games on over each weekend, the pub is the perfect place to nestle down for the entire day to watch the games. 

Pub Quiz

Don’t forget that this Sunday is our monthly pub quiz, and it’s a particularly special one Luke’s first time serving as the new Quizmaster General. So, be sure to come down to give him a hard time for misreading any of his questions. Usual great prizes, £1 per member, max team size of six, booking recommended.

Races

If you’re looking to have a little flutter, then don’t forget that this Sunday is the New Year point-to-point meeting at Cocklebarrow races (less than 15 minutes from the pub). Starting with pony racing followed by lots of jump races, there’s also a ‘tough farmer challenge’ that sounds… interesting and a heated marquee for picnics. Plus, you can come to the pub after!
