Last Week’s Quiz!

No you’re not experiencing a bit of déjà vu, our monthly quiz was supposed to be last Sunday. Unfortunately we had to cancel it at the last minute for reasons beyond our control. Therefore we will instead be having the quiz this Sunday at 19:30. Expect the usual great prizes. £1 per person with a maximum team size of six, booking is recommended.

A Dog day afternoon

This Saturday between 12-3pm the super talented Melissa, of Polo Images, will operating a pop-up phodography studio in the pub! That’s right for just £20 you can book your pooch in for a 15 minute photoshoot and the price includes a print at the end. Find out more here.

Our On form competition

It’s the start of Asthall Manor’s amazing sculpture festival, On Form, on the 10th of June. They’ve got 40 sculptors displaying their works in the gardens, plus a wide array of talks, workshops and concerts going on over the biannual event. And we are still running our competition — all you need to do to be in with a chance of winning two season tickets to the entire festival is to book a table for dinner at the Maytime or sign up for our newsletter.

World Gin Day

Don’t forget next Saturday (the 9th of June) is World Gin Day and we’ve got some very special plans to celebrate. We’ve got two live acts lined up, the Cotswold Distillery will be setting up their own cocktail bar and we’ve even got gin ice lollies. Find out more here, this is not one to be missed.
