Well done you made it! Not only is it the weekend but January is over at last! The weather might be cold, but at least you won’t have to listen to everyone’s boring ‘DryJan’ or ‘Veganuary’ stories any longer. The snow doesn’t phase us! The pub is open, the fire is roaring so come on down and warm yourself up with a pint and a pie.

Valentine’s Day

It’s less than two weeks until Valentine’s day, and we still have some availability for our Valentine’s bookings. From Thursday until Saturday we are offering a special romantic specials menu, which you can mix and match with our A La Carte menu. Plus, everyone who joins us on the 14th will receive a glass of our special rhubarb-infused gin and tonic, that Lubos has been specially preparing for the last month.

February is also a great time to come stay with us for two reasons! First, we’re currently offering a special gin package when you book a room through our website, which means that we will supply you with all the necessary booze, tonic, citrus and glasses to prepare yourself a refreshing GnT in your room each day you stay with us.

Six Nations

We will be playing every single Six Nations game this year, so come on down tonight for France vs Wales, then also come tomorrow for Scotland vs Italy and Ireland Vs England. In fact, why not make a habit of it and join us for every single game this season?

If you’re looking for something special to do ‘round these parts’ then consider a visit to Nature in Art, in Gloucester, who are currently displaying the world-renowned photography exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum.
