Congratulations, it’s the first weekend of spring, you made it! The winter is over and now it is time for sunshine, bleating sheep and blooming flowers, at least in theory. So, just how should you spend this weekend and the upcoming ones? Well, here’s some suggestions along with the latest Maytime Inn news.
Mother’s Day and Pub Quiz
Easter Weekend
Easter is just weeks away now, so if you would like to join us for lunch or dinner at any point over the four day weekend this is just a friendly nudge to remind you that you might want to book now in order to avoid any possible disappointment.
Vote for us
We are delighted to say that we have made the shortlist of the Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards in the ‘Pub of the year category’. So, no matter if you’re a local or an occasional visitor, we’d really appreciate you taking the 60 seconds it takes to vote for us here.
Battle of the Codes
If you’re a rugby fan you might be interested in attending the Battle of the Codes event at Kingsholm Stadium, which is about 40 minutes from the pub. The charity event benefitting Rugby For Heroes and Hull4Heroes will feature ex-professional players such as Mike Tindall, playing against each other in a Rugby Union All Stars Vs Rugby League All Stars match.
